Wisconsin Place is being developed by a partnership of New England Development,
Archstone-Smith, and Boston Properties.

Will there be construction work on the weekends? Yes, in conformance with local area restrictions.
What are the truck routes?
Trucks leave the area via River
Road (west) or Wisconsin Avenue (west). No trucks are permitted through the
Village of Friendship Heights or along Military Road.
Will you be closing any streets?
Streets will never be
closed. There will be selected lane closures to accommodate utilities work
in the streets and construction of the new Bloomingdale’s.

Is the new Bloomingdale’s store in the same location as the
original Hecht’s store?
No, it is located at the corner of Western Avenue and Friendship Boulevard,
and the front door is connected to Wisconsin Avenue by our large,
open retail plaza.
What stores and restaurants will be located in Wisconsin Place?
Bloomingdale’s
and a Whole Foods Market will be part of Wisconsin Place, as well as numerous
specialty boutique stores and restaurants. Bloomingdale's and Talbots are both now open.

What
is the development schedule for Wisconsin Place?
The development of Wisconsin Place is taking place in two phases.
The first phase includes completion of Bloomingdale’s, a portion of the
boutique retail shops, and part of the new parking garage.
The next phase will include completion of the residences, the office tower, and the additional shops and restaurants This phase will also include completion of the community center, the public parks and landscaping, and the parking areas. The direct on-site connection to the Friendship Heights Metro Station will also open at this time.
When will leasing for the retail, office, and residential apartments
begin?
Leasing is now underway for the office and retail portions
of the project. Pre-leasing for the residential apartments will begin mid-2008.
